Anyone got an in person look at there Jump Smock? Would it be suitable

The smocks some of the guys in NS are using are from Spearhead. They look better that the WPG ones.

Mmmm... it's the first pattern Shiney. All of us are wearing the second pattern.

Someone can correct me but the first pattern was up to 1943 till they did some modifications and it was replaced after that. Now my question, would you still see (at that time) a paratrooper using the first pattern after 1943?

First or second pattern is acceptable. A lot of troopers used socks as the knitted cuffs on the second pattern anyway so they ended up looking like first pattern.

As most of us have the WPG smocks it helps to maintain some continuity within the group, but it's not a hard and fast rule.
