Would anyone be interested in making this a social get together as well? We can go out for dinner afterwards. If you can't attend the game try and make it out for dinner. This would be a good time to talk about the Russell Air show seeing it will be two weeks later.

I don't know the area so if someone knows a good restuarant close by let me know.

Let me know it you would be interested.

I'm a definite tentative at the moment, I'm not sure what the overtime will be like for the next couple of weeks. I may also have a couple of players coming with me, you might know them, Bordensniper and Cheeseman...........hahahahahahhahahahha

Anyway, seriously though, since this is just a skirmish, will there be a dedicated WW2 game for the fellows that missed out on the season opener at Muskoka, like Yorkie, Dogfood, and others......(like Crash)?

Just curious.

I'd like to setup a day game in June but two weekends are going to be sucked up with the Russell Airshow (June 5, 6 & 7) and the movie shoot on the weekend of June 27 and 28 (I need to post a thread for that). So I'm thinking June 20th... yes I know it's a Saturday but June 21 is Father's day. A July Game for sure and then the VN game August 8 & 9 (which I encourage everyone to go to that one as well). Should be able to do another WWII game towards the end of August.

Then Maybe we can convince Titan and Clay to have another game in Muskoka in Sept.

I'm hoping to update the events calander on the main web page this coming weekend... hoping!

Also throw me some ideas for scenerios... I know Market Garden is one. But be ready to add missions, don't jsut throw out a battle at me.

I did a quick check, and we don't have a thread or section for game/scenario/mission ideas, or do we?

Now that I'm back to work I'll have alot of free time to think about this kinda stuff. Working at a nuke plant is GREAT!!

The following rules are not new they just will be followed a lot closer from now on.

Let me know if I missed anything.

Safety Rules

While In The Safe Zone

1. Weapon on safety at all times.
2. Barrel plug or sock on the weapon(s) at all times.
3. No Mags loaded in the weapon(s) at any time. This includes hand guns.
4. Never aim your weapon at anyone or anything in the safe zone.
5. Never discharge your weapon in the safe zone (this also means no dry firing).
6. Side arms must be holstered at all times. If they need to be removed from the holster then the mag should not be loaded in the gun and the gun should have a barrel plug and safety on.
7. Your finger should never touch the trigger of any of your weapons while in the safe zone.

Question:
What if my buddy or a fellow player asks to see my weapon (Rifle or side arm)?

Answer:

You have two options. Tell your buddy/player to wait until you get onto the field and he/she can look at it all they want. Or, put your goggles on and leave the safe zone.

Question:

What if I need to test my battery?

Answer:

Put your goggles on and leave the safe zone. Test your weapon in the designated area.

Re-entering The Safe Zone

Note: these steps must be followed each time before you re-enter the safe zone.

1. Remove the mag from your weapon(s). This includes your hand gun.
2. Aim your weapon away from any other players and fire 2 or 3 shots to make sure that there are no BBs left in the barrel.
3. Put the weapon(s) on safety.
4. Put a barrel plug/sock on the weapon.
5. Re-enter the safe zone.

Question:
What if I forgot my barrel plug/sock in the safe zone?

Answer:

Then follow all the other steps and once you find your barrel plug/sock put it on your weapon(s).

While In The Field

1. Goggles must be worn at all times.
2. Unless you are engaged in a fire-fight (actively playing) do not shoot any other players or objects.
3. If you need to test your weapon then move away from all other players. Make sure that you have aimed your weapon away from all players, announce, in a clear and loud voice, that you are discharging your weapon (example: Fire-in-the-hole, Test firing, etc).

Question:

What if Iíve been hit and just standing around with my buddies waiting for the next game to start can I shoot my buddies in the ass as a joke or do some target practice?

Answer:

NO! Refer to rule number 2 of While in the Field. I do not want to walk into your line-of-fire and get shot in the face because you are goofing around.

It says that on the ASC post. It also states that if you do not think that you can follow these rules to not come out.
