Flagraiders (New Field) - Sunday March 29, 2009 - Skirmish Day

This just a day of skirmishes to get people out and the airsoft weapons out of mothballs. This is booked so sign up and we will figure out teams on the day of. Think of it as a warm up to the April game in Muskoka.

I encourage all members to come out in period uniforms and gear. This is a chance to have regular airsofters check us out and hopefully catch the WWII bug.

CRITICAL INFORMATION
Date: Sunday March 29, 2009
Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm Anyone late can join us in the field
Location: Flag Raiders New Field
Cost: $25
Food: FR's famous dogs
Directions: 425 Bingemans Centre Drive, Kitchener

RESTRICTIONS
Goggles: Paintball Only
FPS: 400fps Auto - 450fps BA
Age Limit: 18+ (if you are not 18+ you need to be signed up with an adult 20+) PM me if you have any questions.

Heck, your ears must have been burning, I was an inch about PMing you last night to see if you'd been in contact with Joe about a skirmish day.

Count me in, though I will be bringing out the L85 for a play, haven't used it yet.

LOL... actually I emailed joe early last week and he just back to me yesterday... never like to post a game until I know that we have a field.

Sounds like fun guys! sorry we cant make it out. That is a very long trip. 8 hours or so. But Bracebridge is closer so i figure we can make that one Smile

That's where all good leaders should be... if they go to the front they get killed and then what good are they... plus it hurts! Laughing

I was watching Combat School the other day and I watched a young Lt. rush a building a head of his men and got himself killed (called hit by the ref)... I was laughing because all he kept asking his men is where did that shot come from... I thought dead men don't speak?!

That exact same thing happened in the Ardennes in '45 according to Winters. The NCO ran ahead of everyone and the German sniper noticed his map case and binoculars and shot him, but he survived (barely I think)
