Okay we have the Nam field in Woodstock on July 6th. I'm thinking that this will be a level 2 event so we need as many of our members to be there and if we can help loadout some others that would be great.

Woodstock Field - Sunday July 6th, 2008 - D-Day +1

Level 2 event, meaning that very little to no modern equipment. Any Airsoft weapon can be used but has to be stripped down to the bare weapon. Some form of period uniform (or look a like) must be worn. Example: US - OD uniform with a helmet - no boonies or baseball caps.

CRITICAL INFORMATION

Date: Sunday July 6th (DATE CONFIRMED)
Briefing: 09:45hrs
Starting Time: 10:00hrs
Ending Time: 16:00hrs
Location: Landing Zone Woodstock
Entry Fee: $20
Food: No lunch will be served - there will be no lunch break
Directions:

If heading west from Toronto/Kitchener/Waterloo etc etc exit at HWY 59 (Woodstock) and head south until you come to Beaconsfield Rd. Turn Right onto Beaconsfield(NOT LEFT) and head down the road until you come to LZ Woodstock on the right. You'll see guys with guns and vehicles, so you're in the right place...that or a crazy redneck militia rally.

If you're heading east from London/Windsor etc etc you can follow the above directions OR exit at Mill St./Sweaburg Rd. (Woodstock) exit and head south until you come to Cedar line on your left(you're there when you see a water pumping station on your right. If you pass this you've gone too far.) turn left onto Cedar Line and follow it until you coem to a T intersection and can no longer go straight. Turn right onto Beaconsfield and proceed until you arrive at LZ Woodstock on your Right

RESTRICTIONS
Goggles: Bolles, Paint Ball Goggles
FPS: 400fps Auto - 450fps BA
Age Limit: 18+ (if you are not 18+ you need to be signed up with an adult 20+) PM me if you have any questions.
Ammunition: Limited ammo - see Rules
Uniforms: PLEASE LIST ALLIED OR AXIS AT SIGNUP (Note: If it looks like it becomes one sided I will cap the teams)
Period uniforms and weapons are preferred but are NOT necessary.
Allied Uniform: Period or OD
Axis Uniform: Period or Grey, Black, Dark Blue, Camo (Sorry, no modern gear)
Medic Rules: Rules
Player Cap: 40

Non-WWII Airsoft weapons can is used under the following guidelines

PARTICIPANTS

Allied (Leecas will be commanding the Allied forces)

Leecas
Fader
Slader (+1 Tentative)
Mr. Evolution +1
Lawdog
FNG
Yorkie

Axis (Crash will be commanding the Axis)

Crash
Memel
PanzerGrenadier
Knawbie
Dogfood
Beastman (ASC)
Bender (ASC)

Scenario:

It's D-Day plus one - The great invasion is well on it's way and nothing has gone as planned for either side. There is very little communication and a great deal of confusion on both sides.

I was going to write up a well detailed scenario and missions for both sides but then that would defeat the fog of war that I think will add to this event. All orders/missions will be handed out in sealed envelopes on game day.

I have a feeling this is gonna be a good one!

Even if only few players.

Some spots of the field are earie reminder of Normandy. Well thats what it felt last summer in the scorching heat.

I'll check with Nate but they should be.

I'm going to put you on the US side and if you want to change it at a later date we can do that.

Even if we get 10 guys on each side... with them 75 - 100% loaded out in WWII gear will be friggin' great!

Very cool to see you out!

Anyone know of Shopping destinations for the parents?
My +1 if he comes out will need a pair of goggles and a weapon, I can provide him with a Helmet if he is Allied. (will there be a resistance element and will they be given a side or are they free to choose?)
