I was checking Army Outfitter's website, since Lee gave me some store credit vouchers (still need to find out if they are good). Anyways, I was checking their eBay store (since their webpage has no items) and I ran across a large section of books, mostly priced around $15USD. That gave me an idea...

Would there be any interest in setting up some kind of library service? If you have WW2 books you'd be willing to lend out, maybe post what you have and others can make a request. Or, if there's books you'd like to read but no one has, maybe we could set up some kind of special fund to buy those items for the group?

Any interest? Comments?

Does it have to just be WW2? I have several books from Cannae all the way up to Desert Storm.

Great idea, by the way!

Though these are not military related, they may be of interest.

I have the published diaries of Robert Falcon Scott & Ernest Shackleton on their expeditions to the South Pole.

Also an account of Captain Bligh and his 3600 mile voyage to land, in a 23 foot open boat, after being cast adrift from the Bounty.

No, I don't think it has to be just WW2. If you have books you wouldn't mind sharing with others, I don't see why not.
