Hi guys, my name is Mike, I'm from Montreal and I started playing airsoft just under a year ago....I have always been a WW2 junkie since the first time I saw pictures for a Spitfire and Me109 and thought they were the coolest aircraft ever (still do) and was thrilled to find out there was groups like this all across Canada....I have joined the Quebec WW2 and am looking forward to my first real battle soon. I thought that I would also check out the Ontario group to see if anything would be happening within a 6 hour drive from Mtl. I have read about Op. Woodland and that looks like a blast....I do have a question for you all....Do you guys do more "real steel" blank firing events than airsoft or is it split fairly even? I do look forward to meeting you gentlemen in the near future. Just so you have an idea as to what I have here is what I have so far

2 M43 field grey wool uniforms / SS British Free Corps / 5 SS Wiking / dot 44 tunic and pants / M35 helmet / M43 grey SS cap / Y straps, em belt and SS buckle, gas mask canister, 1 grenade, gamaschens OD / breadbag (tropical) / Oak A Smock and helmet cover / reversible winter parka dot 44 / winter toque / ammo pouches for Mp40 and Mp44 / AGM MP44 and MP 40 / KWC 1911 / SS flag, German Battle Flag 3' x 5' and have ordered my paperwork from Rememberows.

Right now I am using Canadian combat boots and with the gamaschens they look like low boots. working on the following: low boots, MG 42, mess kit, shovel, zelt & canteen

I messaged Mr. McIlmoyle and he offered a few suggestions which I'll be looking into soon

Anyways I'll shut up now......

see you on the battlefield

Welcome Mike! Hope to see you on the field in the near future.

We mostly to airsoft but we are starting to get into blank fire more each year. Right now I would say we are at about a 60/40 split
