New American Tanker movie in late war germay, by the writer of U571 and the director of Harsh Times, Street Kings and End Of Watch... so at least it will be violent ! Starts filming in Sep, Brad Pitt and cast have already started boot camp and are being embedded with an tank unit of the U.S Army

I believe the Tiger in this movie is one the allies captured in Tunisia in 1943 as part of a special op endorsed by Churchill himself. (Tiger 131)
After the war, the tank was put on display for decades at Bovington Tank Museum in Dorset, England and kept in good working order all this time.
I also think they have a real Panther as well. David Ayer the Director is not only a WWII buff but a vet himself and prides himself on this being the most authentic WWII film made.
Anyways looking real good, maybe this will be the the one to take the Throne!

the story behind that tiger was I believe
a shell lodge in the turret ring and immobilized it
the crew fearing for lives promptly not loads a lot of aquantinces ... I'm ok w that
got out and split the scene...
could b wrong tho |
