Hey lee

I should be able to make it to this. If I do, do you want me in medic kit or trooper kit. Just wondering, I will bring both but just as a heads up

Thanks boss Smile

Sean

Both is always good!

Hay Guys....I talked to Geoff from the Ontario Military Muster at the OMVA swap meet on saturday ....Looks like we have a 2acr battle field that we can play in and get trenching done for WWI and fox holes and such, there is a grassey area for a military camp and military vehicles, but no shade trees. Plan to bring extra OD (Olive Drab)tarps for shade .if you want to do a map quest with satalite view , the address is 60 Fairview ave.W. the old fair groungs in Essex ONT.....not sure if the new web site is up yet....www.militarymuster.ca

That's great news. I was afraid with it being on public land we'd not be able to dig or do a battle demonstration. The lack of shade can be borne.

I hope you mean this kind

It is good to see the event coming together despite what happened. Perhaps we can set up the camo nets for some cover from the sun so we don't nearly pass out like we used to at the air show. The event page says at the arena and the grounds so maybe we can just go inside to cool off.

edit: SOMM times shows what the planned layout is on their website if anyone missed it:

Ian, thanks for the pic... sometimes it's just nice to have a good view and a cold beer!

BTW Johann, the pics you posted are of good 'ole Rainer Schmidt from waaaay back with his signature teufelrohr signal Very Happy

He is a good fellow, bought my Tanaka Kar98 from him several years ago, heard he is back doing reenactment.
