First a huge thanks goes to Brian for hosting and to John Woods for letting us use his farm.
For the most part the weather was great with a little rain on Saturday... it wouldn't be Woodsman if it didn't rain. Didn't freeze my ass off at night. All though I did not go out on Thursday and I hear that was a very cold night.
A good turn out and a great bunch of re-enactors. All acted professionally and no problems occurred. It's always great to see the same people and new faces as well. Always great to see the guys and gals from Quebec.
Having the Pak in play this year was awesome. And it was fun to see all the boys (and gals) playing with the six pounder... thanks to Mike for bringing them out.
The Allies worked well together and we did some major damage. The Germans are always a tough foe to come up against and always make it a challenge to complete our missions.
This will most likely be my last Woodsman (for some time at least) and it was a good one to end with. I can only see it becoming better especially if Mike continues to bring out his toys.
Thanks to everyone that came out and made it fun! _________________ 1Lt. Lee Cassar (Re-enactor)
