Field Training Facility

I'm pleased to announce that FTF will return. Bigger and better than ever.

It’s been a few years since I have had access to my own field, I've run quite a few games at other fields locally over the past few years. But playing in other people’s sandbox always presents certain limitations.

Today, I have concluded the purchase of a 180 acre parcel of land in Prince Edward County, south of Belleville just to the West of Demorestville. The location of this property makes it accessible with a reasonable drive of less than 2.5 hours from the GTA and the GOR

The property is a combination of young forest, and open scrub-land. Currently there are limited structures in place. We will add additional features over time. Long term plans include defensive positions dug in, a village crossroads, a bridge feature, and various emplacements.

Events at FTF will focus on 24 hour duration or longer operations. Focused on Modern Military Simulation and World War 2 re-enactments employing Bio-BB firing airsoft guns. Blank firing events are also planned.

On site facilities are currently limited, the facilities are best described as “rustic” but I intend to add additional facilities over time as the field develops.

There is a fully accessible and well gravelled parking area, and ample space for on site camping.

FTF will be available for private team training events.

Game hosts who wish to organize an event at FTF should contact me directly to discuss availability and costs.

As this property is wholly owned by me personally, there is no possibility of the field being closed, or losing access. FTF is back and is here to stay.

Congrats Brian! Does this mean Woodsman has a new home?

Looks like some people will be doing lots of digging this summer Smile Need to wipe dust off of my spaten.

Great news Brian, congratulations. Can't wait to go, and it's only 2.5-3 hours from Ottawa.
If you want advice on building period fortifications, let me know. I know some BF guys who have lots of experience/knowledge in that area.
I'm also up for build days.

Congratulations.

It would be great to play on a field that included a modest amount of structures that would mimic a small European hamlet.

My plans are to start with a small farm setting,

A larger central structure , and then some outbuildings, with some walls and such.

Then add onto that over time to build up a small hamlet

No Hamlet is complete without a place of worship…can I suggest a name?

St. Peter's Basilica?

I'll even build it, haha
