Was just doing a lazy browse of the iTunes app store when I came across two apps that might interest you guys.

WW2 Daily:

Basically it tells you what happened that day and where in WW2. There is a lite version (free) and a full version (I think it was about 1.60). Didn't look fully into the differences but may interest.

WW2 US Army Serial Number Generator:

This looked rather interesting and a shame there isn't a Brit version. Apparently it was specifically designed for re-enactors and from the quick glance I gave it you put in your unit, location ECG and it generates an accurate number. I obviously haven't used it but the reviews looked pretty good. And as it's free - what you losing?

Hope they are of some interest. Will keep my eye for more!
