Buy my next lotto ticket, mmkay? Wink

It's all about research ! I got myself the GI Collector's guide and I knew what I was looking for exactly. That liner was kijiji for months. When I email'd him, the guy was glad to ship it and finally sell it. I couldn't be happier ! Razz

I need a better shell when the time comes, but with netting, it's hard to tell.

So, for the shirt under the M42 jacket ... what should I be doing? Enlisted man's shirt (what is a good source for these?) White tee?

Ebay is a good source for the real thing. What Price Glory sells repro at not a bad price. And yes white Tee's. We wear the white Tees most of the time and the wool shirts for cooler days.

Economy M1-C arrived today from ATF. Very happy with the quality of the finish, liner (post war, 1959?) and webbing. Getting closer Cool

That's perfect. It's pretty much exactly like the WWII counterpart but with OD7 webbing.

And adjustable nape strap.

Hi, I got the same type of liner as you. I think that ours are both 1950's Belgian Helmet Liners.

When I took my liner out, I found a Belgian flag on the liner. You might have the same thing on yours.

Your stamp is more readable than mine.

You might also want to add some camoflauge scrim to your helmet. I did and mine looks very nice. Smile
